This is a design role at a company with no design department. You would be the person who decides what our products look like and how they behave, across a platform, a storefront builder, and the brands our customers launch on top of it.
We care about craft to a degree that some people find unreasonable. Typography, spacing, motion, the specific weight of a border. We also care about it shipping, which means the gap between your file and production is your problem too.
The work
- Own the end-to-end design of product surfaces: information architecture, interaction, visual system, copy.
- Build and maintain the design system that keeps three products looking like one company.
- Work directly in the codebase where it is the fastest path. You do not need to be an engineer, but handing off a static file and walking away is not the job.
- Design for people running regulated businesses. Clarity is a compliance feature.
What we look for
- A portfolio of shipped product work, not concepts. We will want to talk about the constraints and the tradeoffs, not the case study.
- Real fluency with a modern design tool and a point of view about when to abandon it and go straight to the browser.
- Range across marketing surfaces and dense application UI. Both exist here and they are not the same skill.
- Opinions you can defend and change.

We read every application ourselves. A link to something you built will do more for you here than a cover letter, so lead with that.
