We keep this open on purpose. The best people we have worked with did not arrive through a job description, and the roles above are the ones we happen to know we need. They are not the limit of what we will hire for.
So this is the open door. If you do extraordinary work — the kind where the evidence speaks before you do — we want to hear from you, and we will build the role around you rather than the other way around.
One caveat, stated plainly so you do not waste your time: exceptional is a high word and we mean it literally. This is not a way to apply to the roles above with a lower bar. It is a way in for people the roles above do not describe.
What to send
- Tell us what you do, in one paragraph, without adjectives.
- Show us the evidence. Shipped products, repositories, companies you started, research you published, numbers you moved, things you built that people use.
- Tell us what you would do here and why it should exist.
What we look for
- Proof over pedigree. We do not care where you went to school and we are not impressed by logos on their own.
- A record of doing hard things to completion without anyone asking you to.
- The judgment to know whether this message is worth sending.
